I am still keeping up with my change of how I eat. I do splurge sometimes and eat some treats but for the most part I have been sticking with it.
I have now lost a total of 10 pounds!
Makes me very happy. It seems that my cloths are growing...
What a Day!

The Most Comfortable Shoes EVER!!!
I started working again at Danville Gardens in February. I am on concrete a lot. My old shoes were not cutting it. My feet were killing me! I would come home every day from work and my feet would be screaming at me. My back started hurting too.
I told Jason that I needed some new shoes. So when we went to the temple in Chicago not long after that we went to an REI store up there and I found these shoes.
They are KEEN brand. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I would rather wear them than be barefoot. That is saying a lot for me. I am so grateful for these shoes. I can walk around or stand on the concrete for 7 to 8 hours a day and its no big deal.
I love my shoes!
Reporting
At the end of week two of eating differently I had lost another 2 pounds. So that is a total of 7 pounds in two weeks! That makes me happy. I feel good too. I am not even trying to lose weight my body is just doing it because I am feeding it the way it should be. Yippee!
Something that had changed a little in week two was that my mother-in-law gave me her juicer so I have started drinking vegetable juices as well. Yum!
So now to see if the trend will continue and if I will lose anymore in my third week. We shall see!

It's Been a Week!
It has been a week since I started eating differently. I have tried other ways of eating before and this time is totally different. I have some things to report that are not normal to most of the ways I have tried.
1. I have lost 5 pounds in just one week.
2. I have not been hungry.
3. I eat as much as I want.
4. My cravings have been almost non-existent.
5. I am never tired after I eat.
I have tried many other ways of losing weight and trying to get healthy. Calorie counting, Weight Watchers, cutting out as much fat as possible, just to name a few. None of them worked. All I have done is removed all processed foods from what I eat. I eat fresh vegetables and fruits, beef, chicken, and fish, eggs, cheese, raw milk, legumes, popcorn, and I cook everything in butter, coconut oil, or lard. So far I can eat as much of it as I want. I am feeling so good. My body is much happier and I like what I am seeing in the mirror. I just can't believe I have lost 5 pounds and haven't been hungry... That is just not normal!
Yippee! And I am off to start another week!

Eating Differently
I hadn't been feeling very good lately and had been tired all of the time. I just thought it was because I was really busy with work and not getting enough sleep. Come to find out I think its my food choices. Most people would think that the way I was eating was perfectly fine and way better than most. But I am now changing it up yet again. This is only day three with the change but I have already lost two pounds! Yippee! I am also feeling some better already.
This is what I had to eat the last two days:
Breakfast
1 egg fried in butter
1 cup raw cows milk (I get it from an Amish farmer)
1 banana
Snack
1 Apple
1/4 cup almonds
Lunch
Salad (lettuce, carrots, green peppers and balsamic vinegar)
celery
2 hard boiled eggs
Dinner (day 1)
Chinese Buffet
stir fry with beef
fruit
crab legs
shrimp (not fried)
Dinner (day 2)
steak (grilled by my wonderful husband)
fried morel mushrooms
After Dinner Snack on day two
Popcorn popped on stove in coconut oil with real salt on it
homemade smoothie (frozen strawberries, frozen banana, raw milk, sucanat, and vanilla)
I am doing my very best to eliminate all added sugar from what I eat. Sugar is addicting and it makes me feel like junk in the end. Not to mention it makes me tired and also makes it hard for me to sleep at night. I also don't drink any sodas wether they are diet ones or not. No artificial sweeteners either. Like I said I am already feeling a little better and I have lost 2 pounds!
I have also found a new motto to help me with not feeling deprived when it comes to all of the addicting sweets and things:
I CAN have it, but I don't want it.

I Feel Rather Spoiled!
I feel so spoiled! For Valentines Day Jason got me my very own Kindle Fire (my niece calls it a Ken Doll Fire)! I am having so much fun with it. I can read books, play games, watch movies, listen to music, check my email, and get on the internet. It is like a mini computer in my hands!
He got me this nice cover as well.
It closes and looks a little like a book.
It also has a way that it can stand up so that I can watch movies or read books more comfortably.
I love it! Jason also got a screen protector, stylus, car charger, and ear phones to go with it. Like I said I feel rather spoiled! Maybe I am! :-)

I Am Whining...
This week has been so hectic!
I started working at Danville Gardens again this week. So I work 8:00am to 2:45pm Monday through Friday.
My days are just crazy.
5:30am - get my self dressed and ready for the day and read my scriptures.
6:00am - I get the kids up so they can get dressed and ready for school. Then I make breakfast for everyone, pack lunches for the kids, Jason and myself.
6:50am - I get the kids on the bus.
6:55am - I do dishes and take care of the chickens and start some laundry and get anything else ready that I need for the day.
7:40am - Ride my bike to work.
2:55pm - I get home and empty my lunch stuff
3:00pm - The kids get home. I get the kids moving on their homework and I go take my shower (I get pretty dirty at work most days so I don't take a shower in the mornings). Then I get working on dinner or we have leftovers. And then whatever else is going on that evening.
10:00pm - I hope to be in bed sleeping... More often than not I am not in bed...
This is what my week has been like in the evenings:
Monday - we went to a friends for dinner (very nice to not have to cook).
Tuesday - I had to go to Champaign at 4:00pm for some things.
Wednesday - was church night 6:30 - 8:00pm.
Thursday - was Cub Scouts at 4:00pm and another church night from 6:30 - 8:30pm
Friday - after work I am doing my Visiting Teaching from 4:30 - 7:30pm.
Saturday - I am helping with a baby shower 10:00am.
I will be so glad when Sunday comes and I can just go to church and then be home the rest of the day and recoup for the next week.
I hate being away from home every night of the week! I don't know why people do this kind of thing to themselves on purpose by having their kids in every sport/activity under the sun so that they are never home. Being away so much wears me out and I have no relaxation time and I just get worn down and tired and can't catch back up.
I think that next week will be better. Not gone so much.
